Tips
- For hot tea, serve as it is. For iced tea, let it come to room temperature, then pour over a glass full of ice. Top with 2-3 extra mint leaves and a lemon wheel.
- You keep it less sweet — the tartness of hibiscus is the hero. If you like it fizzy, top it up with soda water instead of plain water while serving.

Ingredients
Instructions
- Brew the base:
Boil the water, then switch off the heat. Add the dried hibiscus petals. Cover and steep for 8-10 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger and more tart it will be. - Add the mint:
In the last 2 minutes of steeping, add the mint leaves. Lightly slap them between your palms before adding — it helps release the oils. Don’t boil the mint or it will turn bitter. Strain & Sweeten: - Strain the deep red tea. While it’s still warm, add honey and mix. Then add the lemon juice.
